【法國。凡爾賽宮 Palace of Versailles】


















前一晚喝了大瓶紅酒
結果一直醉暈暈到隔天
雖然遙遠來到
卻實在是無心逛這凡爾賽宮
一遍金光閃爍
奢華無比
巴洛克的精雕細琢
想起了那句 ‘Let them eat cake'
上了斷頭臺的那縷魂魄或許還在這座巨大的宮裏漂遊

Together with its gardens, the Château de Versailles is one of the most famous monuments of world heritage. The buildings trace the architectural style of the 17th and 18th centuries and comprise: the Royal Apartments, the Hall of Mirrors, the Chapel, the Royal Opera and the Museum of the History of France. The Château de Versailles has a new welcome and information area for the public, where all entrance tickets have been grouped together (the 'billet château', one-day pass, and guided visits are sold here). This area is located in the first building (aile des Ministres sud) located on the ramp on the left after passing the main gate.

The chateau: - November to March: 9am to 5.30pm - April to October: 9am to 6.30pm The Domaine de Marie-Antoinette, Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon: Open everyday (except Monday) from 12 noon. Closure of inside areas: - November to March: 5.30pm - April to October: 6.30pm

RER: Versailles - Rive Gauche
Château ticket: €15, €13 (concessions) - including all unguided visits including temporary exhibitions, with an audio guide. The Domaine de Marie-Antoinette and the Châteaux de Trianon: €10, €6 (concessions) Access to garden: Free, except in high season on the days of the 'Grandes Eaux Musicales' (musical fountain shows) or 'Jardins Musicaux' (musical events in the gardens) (every Saturday and Sunday from 2 April to 30 October as well as every Tuesday from 5 April to 25 October and certain other dates: 22 April, 2 June and 14 July.) Grandes Eaux Musicales: €8; Jardins Musicaux: €7.
